Job Summary

This role plays an important part of ensuring all spa guests are greeted and begin to have an exceptional experience as they enter Spa Mirbeau. The Spa Front Desk Associate's focus is to be a friendly first face and resource when checking in spa quests. You will be expected to welcome guests, process payments, give tours as needed, and ensure the front desk is organized.


Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to guests on the procedures at the spa.
  • Provide tours of the Spa to Guests.
  • Welcome the Spa guests by providing them with a robe and sandals.
  • Answer telephone calls and provide accurate information to guests.
  • Keep the reception area clean and conducive for guests as they wait for their turn to be attended too.
  • Introduce new beauty products to guests and educate them on their uses and benefits.
  • Keep guests updated on current available promotions and discounts on services offered in the Spa.
  • Process payments from guests for services ordered from the spa.
  • Give appointments to guests on specific days.
  • Open and close the spa at the appropriate time.
  • Ensure that the front desk is clean and organized for free movement.
  • Assist in getting guests feedback on the level of services delivered in order to improve on service delivery.
  • Inform staff members of appointments that have been canceled by guests, and alert staff members of the arrival of guests who come without prior appointments.
  • Receive customer complaints and feedback and direct them to appropriate offices for resolution.

Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements

Requires a neat appearance, pleasant personality, and ability to deal effectively with the spa, staff, and public. Position requires strong communication skills, excellent guest service skills, and extensive knowledge in computer use and applications.
