Direct Mail Solutions is a full service mail and fulfillment company located in Richmond, Virginia. DMS is seeking a full time Recruiter to manage and execute recruiting processes for all levels of employment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with all managers to recruit and retain talented individuals.
  • Manage the recruitment process from the initial receipt of job requisition through the on-boarding process.
  • Evaluate candidates' strengths through evaluations, screening and interviewing.
  • Build effective partnerships with hiring managers in order to influence hiring decisions, and serve as their primary point-of-contact through the DMS recruitment process.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers to candidates.
  • Complete necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks and drug testing.
  • Focus on retention of work force by analyzing the turnover and conducting exit interviews.
  • Create job requisitions and accurately manage candidates in the applicant tracking system.
  • Attend and participate in recruiting events.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited university or a minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Resources.
  • Possess strong written and oral English communication skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers is required.
  • Proven ability to successfully use networking & relationship building sites to find candidates (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including proficiency with MS Office products (Word and Excel), internet search engines, and email systems
  • Ability to relate to all levels of staff.
  • Adapt to differing management styles, while maintaining the integrity of Human Resources.
  • Experience in a production oriented environment.
  • Demonstrate team attitude and effort.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Desire to learn in a fast paced production environment.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System is a plus
