Job Description 

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with potential and existing customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. You will work closely with the sales and manufacturing teams to ensure that customer requirements are met efficiently and effectively. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and networking. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads. 

  • Customer Engagement: Conduct outbound and inbound sales calls to engage with potential customers, address their needs, and offer product solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. 

  • Product Knowledge: Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of our manufacturing products and services. Effectively communicate product benefits and features to customers. 

  • Quote Management: Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals based on customer requirements. Follow up on quotes and proposals to secure orders. 

  • Order Processing: Process orders, manage customer accounts, and coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure timely delivery of products. Address any issues or concerns related to order fulfillment. 

  • Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance. Provide regular updates and insights to the sales manager. 

  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities and challenges in the market. 

Requirement and Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required. 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Experience with B2B sales is a plus. 

  • At least conversational level Japanese language skills preferred.  

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. 

  • Technical aptitude to understand and convey complex product information.
