Key Responsibilities

  • Community Relations: Manage Board of Directors (BOD), Homeowner, and Community relations. Attend all community and committee meetings.
  • Team Leadership: Train and foster team building among all employees involved in the account.
  • Property Oversight: Conduct walkthroughs (Landscape, Building, Violation, Architectural Review, Work Order verification) based on daily, weekly, and monthly checklists.
  • Financial Management: Oversee Association fiscal matters, including financial statement review and reporting to the board if spending exceeds the budget. Develop and prepare the annual draft budget for BOD approval.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Ensure adherence to preventative maintenance procedures and policies by engineering staff. Establish and maintain building Emergency Guidelines.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relations, including contracted on-site staff. Oversee Association third-party contracts and advise the Board on performance.
  • Compliance and Education: Educate Association board members on legislative changes affecting their HOA. Maintain compliance with laws and regulations governing condominium associations.
  • Special Projects: Manage all special projects and authorize payment of invoices. Manage all aspects of the annual meeting/election process.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in Property Operations and/or Hospitality, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CMCA, AMS, and/or PCAM Accreditation from CAI preferred.
  • Skills: Strong customer service, communication, and people skills. Highly organized and people oriented. Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Coaching and training abilities and an understanding of accounting principles are desired.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Additional Requirements

  • Language: English required; multiple language fluency desirable.
  • Travel: Travel to multiple on-site locations as needed. Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements. Ability to respond to emergencies 24/7.
  • Physical: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods. Occasional handling, grasping, and lifting of objects and packages. Extensive use of fingers for typing and visual use of the computer monitor. Ability to navigate the property/building quickly and easily as required.
  • Working Conditions: Majority of work completed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment with little to moderate noise levels. Depending on the community, may regularly walk/work outdoors for inspections, tours, or other property needs.
