Job Summary
iKids U is seeking a dynamic and engaging Child Care Teacher to join our team. As a Part-time, seasonal after school Teacher at iKids U, you will deliver a variety of age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development in children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a passion for education.

Child Care Teacher Responsibilities
  • Implement lesson plans that align with iKids U's curriculum and program goals
  • Lead and supervise elementary-age children during after-school activities
  • Build positive relationships with children and families
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for children
  • May lift 5-30 lbs; anticipate physical demands of a standard classroom and playground setting.
Child Care Teacher Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required (18 years of age minimum)
  • CPR and First Aid certification ; iKids will provide as needed
  • Clear background/ fingerprinting : Eligible status, required
  • Available Monday - Thursday, some Fridays
  • Experience working with children in a classroom, after-school, or camp setting
  • Knowledge of child development; age-appropriate activities; behavior management techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Independent transportation / support multiple campuses weekly
