- Accounting Practices: Supervise daily accounting activities, such as managing payables, receivables, general ledger operations, and payroll. Guarantee adherence to all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Regulatory Compliance and Internal Controls: Develop robust internal controls to protect organizational assets and ensure regulatory compliance. Oversee both internal and external audit processes, executing improvement actions based on audit findings.
- Leadership in Team Development: Direct a team of finance professionals, including accountants and financial clerks. Offer ongoing mentorship, training, and opportunities for professional growth to elevate team capabilities.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area. CPA qualification is highly desirable.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of financial reporting, GAAP, and core accounting principles. Skilled in major accounting software and ERP solutions like QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite.
- Analytical Abilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at interpreting complex financial data to provide strategic insights.
- Leadership Qualities: Outstanding leadership and communication abilities, capable of motivating and leading a diverse team.
