Essential Job Functions

  1. Responsible for the month end closing entries.
  2. Responsible for all Bank Reconciliations.
  3. Together with the Staff Accountant prepare and review the monthly general ledger reconciliations for CRI and Outreach.
  4. Supervise Accounts Payable staff.
  5. Check AP batches.
  6. Responsible for the upload of Escrow deposits on a monthly basis.
  7. Assist in the preparation of the OP-Plan, COR and the Cost Reports and submit for review.
  8. Review the recording of all fixed assets and their applicable depreciation.
  9. Assist with the year end audit.
  10. Review the monthly payroll reconciliations for both companies and submit for review.
  11. Assist with the preparation and documentation of Finance Dept. operating procedures.
  12. Responsible for process improvement within the Finance Dept, automating as many manual processes as possible.
  13. Responsible for tying the monthly attendance to the revenue entry and creating a MIP upload.
  14. Responsible for ensuring the Individuals' Funds audits are up to date.
  15. Assist the CFO with any state reporting requirements other than those mentioned in #5 above including external audit requests.
  16. Prepare timely and accurate month end reports including the bank recs and any other report as assigned.
  17. Supervise Staff Accountants.
  18. Responsible for Consultants' contracts.
  19. Any otherjob requirements as needed.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other related area within the Financial field. 5 years' experience in the accounting field and 5 years supervisory experience or 10 years ofan equivalent required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have experience creating and utilizing various spreadsheets. Knowledge of MIP Accounting software a plus.

Personal: Must possess strong analytical skills and be able to take initiative when given a project. Must be highly confidential when dealing with various aspects of the position based on the subject matter.
