Position Summary

Are you a customer service leader with a passion for the food industry? We're seeking a driven Inside Sales Manager to play a key role in supervising our customer service team and ensuring exceptional service to our restaurant partners. This role is perfect for someone with 3-5 years of experience working in a customer service leadership or management position within the food distribution industry. You'll work closely with the COO to ensure the Customer Service Department operates efficiently and provides timely, respectful service to our valued customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily workflow within the customer service department
  • Maintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, and any customer service issues
  • Uphold the highest standards in customer service, including suggestive selling techniques
  • Supervise and mentor a team of customer service representatives, including scheduling and timecard approval
  • Assist in the interviewing and onboarding of new customer service employees
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to solve problems, improve service quality, and implement customer feedback

Qualifications

  • Food/Hospitality industry experience required
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service leadership or 5+ years of experience in food distribution sales
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers, ownership, and employees
  • Proficiency in customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as required by the business
