Become the Human Resources Coordinator you always wanted to be
- Support recruitment by screening resumes and identifying candidates.
- Manage FMLA processes.
- Provide outstanding customer service to employees and managers, addressing their needs effectively.
- Assist in federal, state, and Joint Commission survey preparedness activities.
- Contribute to special HR projects and serve as a project coordinator when necessary.
Qualifications
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or SPHR certification preferred.
- BA or BS degree in Personnel Administration, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience may substitute for four year degree on a year for year basis.
- One to three years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in healthcare.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint) preferred.
Responsibilities and Tasks
• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
Sets policies and procedures and in dealing with daily employee situations.
• Assists with all HR office operations.
Assists with HR operations such as benefits, recruitment and retention, workers compensation, staffing and wages, employee relations.
• Serves as a resource to the HR Director, department managers and other employees.
• Supports the recruiting function by screening resumes to identify candidates.
• Oversees FMLA requests and process.
• Assists with special HR projects.
Serves as project coordinator as needed.
• Organizes, plans, and manages time effectively to complete assignments.
• Meets position requirements and performs essential functions.
• Completes mandatory training and courses required by completion date.
• Reports questionable situations, concerns, complaints or harassment immediately.
