Administrative Assistant

- Answer phones and navigate solutions in the moment to calls and questions.
- Assist the Administrative Team in managing the daily schedules.
- Assist in managing paperwork for children's files, including immunizations, accident-incident reports, etc.
- Input children's information into childcare management system; manage updates to the children's files.
- Attend staff meetings and on-going training opportunities.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Maintain all required credentials necessary for the role.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management as per program needs; duties not limited to above description.
- Willing to do a 9-6 schedule
As a licensed program through the Department of Health, staff members must have the following documents on file:
- Minimum of two years experience as a teacher for children under six years old
- SCR Clearance
- DOI Fingerprinting
- Physical including immunizations and letter of good health from doctor, within last 12 months
- State-Mandated Trainings: Mandated Reporter Training, Preventing Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and Promoting Safe Sleeping Training, Prevention and Identification of Brain Injuries, including Abusive Head Trauma (AHT) Training, Foundations in Health and Safety Training, Infectious Control and Reporting Diseases Training
- Familiarity with New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Article 47 regulations
