Job Summary

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordination with MP Biomedicals global facilities for inter-company order processing and shipment planning. This role works with the international shipping team and the customer service group to fulfill orders from other MP Biomedicals sites.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inter-company orders including stocking orders, drop shipment orders and orders with special requirements such as hazardous, temperature controlled, and USDA.
  • Order entry, order management, order review, and order coordination.
  • Monitoring inventory availability and allocation of stock to customer orders.
  • Inter-company customer inquiry ownership regarding product/lot questions and delivery status.
  • Internal collaboration for inter-company order fulfillment with:
  1. Inter-company purchasing staff
  2. Inter-company logistics staff
  3. Supply chain, warehouse, and shipping team
  4. Operations team
  5. Quality Control
  6. Product Management team
  • Internal & external report generation and related analysis.
  • Proactively monitors, evaluates, and presents solutions to potential challenges.
  • Responsible for achieving departmental KPI’s.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • International order coordination required
  • Shipment planning experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing and distribution company
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office expertise, especially Excel & Outlook
  • Highly organized & detail oriented
  • Ability to analyze data and problem solving skills
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to make calculated business decisions quickly
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to create, manage, and present action plans
