From turn-key engineering and construction solutions to environmental audits, compliance services, and manure marketing, we are dedicated to serving the needs of livestock producers and farmers around the globe. Our extensive experience in cattle feedlot and production facility design spans much of the U.S. SASE is looking for an experienced Structural Engineering Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Structural Engineering Designer will support and serve agricultural clients as well as internal SASE engineering and construction needs. Responsibilities include:
- Develop structural design plans and documents for preliminary evaluation
- Develop structural design plans and documents for construction
- Ensure completeness of the design
- Develop and review construction quantities
- Join in on team discussions and meetings relating to projects
Qualifications and Skills
- 4+ years experience working in engineering or construction design
- 4+ years of CAD experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Critical thinking and problem solving
Summary
As a Structural Engineering Designer, you will utilize your expertise in CAD to create detailed schematics and drafts for construction projects. Your proficiency in Sketchup, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD will be essential in producing accurate designs. Knowledge of construction practices will be valuable in ensuring structural integrity.
