We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Body Structures and Components Designer to join our team at American Honda Motor. As a key member of our Upperbody Design department, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative automotive body structures and components that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Create and manage 3D models, layouts, and 2D drawings using CATIA to develop automotive body structures and components.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional divisions, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless design and development processes.
  • Supplier Management: Lead part development activities with suppliers, setting design targets and confirming prospects to achieve requirements.
  • Verification and Validation: Support part and vehicle verification, including developing countermeasures as necessary.
  • Cost Estimation and Management: Estimate and manage part cost, weight, and investment throughout development.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CATIA or other 3D CAD software.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills.
