The Role
The Superintendent will provide management and complete daily operation of commercial construction projects. The main focus is to manage the schedule, quality, and safety of the project while working with owners, architects, subcontractors and municipalities from the start of the project through completion.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule subcontractors
- Perform daily safety audits and project updates.
- Maintain document flow and control.
- Manage job costs.
- Communicate clearly with management, inspectors, and customers.
- Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite.
- Perform physical aspects of the job as required.
- Read and interpret plans.
- Perform take offs from plans.
- Ensure 100% compliance of all safety regulations.
- Expect, demand, and maintain highest quality standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in commercial restaurant construction or related field required.
- Ability to confidently read and understand plans.
- Confident decision maker
- Detail oriented
- Have an ownership mentality over projects.
- Excellent communicator
- Experienced with MS Office, MS Project & general computer usage
- Travel requirement 10%
- Requires medical exam in accordance with DOT regulations
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
