POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an organized and motivated Resident Service Coordinator to help with a portfolio of properties. The resident service coordinator will report to the property manager and perform administrative and organizational duties such as liaising with residents.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing and scheduling property viewings, conducting property tours and interviewing prospective tenants.
  • Addressing and resolving residents' questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Inspecting property conditions and coordinating maintenance activities.
  • Creating and distributing marketing materials to attract new tenants.
  • Maintaining organized and updated resident files and records.
  • Reporting any problems or issues to the property manager.

Assistant Property Manager Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Previous experience in property management or real estate.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic bookkeeping skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the highest level of integrity.
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire and ability to learn quickly.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Property Management Certifications
  • Degree in business, management or real estate preferred.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

The compensation for this position ranges from 40,000k to 50,000k commensurate with qualifications and experience. This full-time position is considered exempt from overtime pay under the federal and state wage and hour laws. GY Properties offers a highly competitive compensation package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, generous vacation and paid time off, an employee referral program, complementary employee parking, and opportunities for continuing education and training.

GY Properties currently requires the COVID-19 vaccination for all employees, other than those with religious or medical exemptions. This is a full-time in-office position.
