Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Success Coach to join our team As a Success Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting high school students within the online learning environment. You will work closely with teachers, mentors, and other educational staff to enhance student academics, attendance, and overall achievement. You will be instrumental in implementing strategies to help at-risk students reach their academic goals and comply with district-specific requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support and Engage: Maintain a roster of at-risk students, conducting weekly communications with students and parents/guardians to discuss academic performance.
  • Track and Record: Document all interactions in the student roster and the Genius platform, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate: Work with teachers to provide targeted interventions for students at risk of academic failure.
  • Ensure Compliance: Assist during Count Month and State Testing periods by ensuring student compliance with mentor contacts and testing schedules.
  • Provide Resources: Offer additional support, including tech tutoring and bilingual assistance, to meet diverse student needs.
  • Communicate Standards: Keep up-to-date knowledge of high school scheduling processes and effectively communicate academic standards and expectations to students and parents/guardians.
  • Participate: Attend and participate in weekly team meetings, individual meetings, professional development sessions, and other required gatherings.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in the education field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively with educational teams.
  • Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively manage sensitive information.
  • Availability: Minimum of 30 hours per week.
