Blue Sparq is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Cape Coral, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and leading office administrative functions. The office responsibilities involve scheduling meetings, coordinating the office layout, ordering stationery and equipment, and maintaining the overall office condition. You will also collaborate with other departments, handle administrative tasks, and contribute to improving company procedures and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a background in accounting and office management.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, legal requirements, and company policies.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  • Responsible for handling human resources functions which includes HR administration, payroll, onboarding, and recruitment.
  • Implement and maintain efficient office procedures and workflows.
  • Willingness to work as needed outside the general scope of the role, demonstrating adaptability, and contributing to various aspects of the organization.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in office management.
