Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Communications Coordinator to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing internal and external communications, enhancing our brand image, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. You will work closely with various departments to create and implement communication strategies that align with Sharpcontra's goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communication plans that support company objectives.
- Manage and update content on the company’s website and social media platforms.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
- Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communications.
- Handle media inquiries and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
- Monitor media coverage and report on communication activities.
- Assist in organizing and promoting company events and press conferences.
- Ensure all communications adhere to company branding guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a communications role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems.
