The Warehouse Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating the receiving, storage, and distribution of products, materials, and equipment for the Company. The Warehouse Manager supervises the activities of the warehouse employees and maintains safe, organized, and efficient conditions.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Manages team performance, including appraisals, development and coaching, communicating expectations, disciplinary action, and enforcing all policies, procedures, and standards.
  2. Responsible for all communications to Project Managers, Construction, and Management teams.
  3. Develops a delivery schedule and coordinates material with Project Managers and Service Managers.
  4. Processes all paperwork in compliance with Company and client policies.
  5. Manages inventory records, packing slips, and procurement receipts.
  6. Reviews and maintains warehouse budget with Company management.
  7. Reviews and approves vendor invoices.
  8. Oversees warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  9. Verifies shipping and receiving inventory.
  10. Oversees records of received inventory and communicates timely to the responsible construction personnel.
  11. Manages bills of lading for incoming shipments.
  12. Manages to inventory products against packing lists.
  13. Oversees all organizing, storing, and staging of products for field distribution.
  14. Supervises updating and providing accurate records of inventory.
  15. Reviews inventory to monitor precise records of products stored or stocked.
  16. Enforces inspecting and maintaining for safety and mechanical upkeep of vehicles and forklifts.
  17. Operates Company vehicle, forklift, and other warehouse tools and equipment.
  18. Manages the delivery of products using moving vans, box trucks, flatbeds, and equipment trailers.
  19. Supervises loading and unloading trucks and delivery vehicles using manual and motorized equipment.
  20. Maintains a safe, organized, and clean working environment.
  21. Serves as a responsible leader, through the direction and guidance of the team, to ensure all safety requirements for all jobs are upheld adhering to all aspects of our Health, Safety, and Environmental Program both for self-protection and for protection of co-workers, sub-contractors, the public, and the client by supporting all Company safety efforts.
  22. Performs administrative tasks as needed.
  23. Oversees the review process of employees.
  24. Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills

  1. 5 years experience with related experience or equivalent.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent.
  3. Experience in shipping, receiving, and fulfillment management.
  4. Verified experience driving large vehicles (moving vans, box trucks, flatbeds).
  5. Ability to become forklift certified.
  6. Experience with inspection and maintenance for vehicle and forklift safety.
  7. Experience with managing warehousing, storage, and distribution methods and procedures.
  8. Shipping and receiving experience including checking bills of lading for incoming shipments, and inventorying products against packing lists.
  9. Experience with organizing, storing, and staging products for field distribution.
  10. Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  11. Dependable team player with strong communication skills.
  12. Planning, time management, and organizational skills.
  13. Coordination and inventory control skills.
  14. Data entry, reporting, and documenting skills
  15. Friendly and positive attitude towards change.
  16. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  17. Able to identify a need, remove the barriers, and the know-how to make things happen.
  18. Values diversity of ideas, opinions, and people. Has good common sense and applied logic.
  19. Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft Software Suite.
  20. Must possess or be able to obtain an appropriate state driver’s license before employment, along with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Cirks Construction Inc. (CCI), dba KDC Construction, offers a competitive salary/hourly range of $77,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year – while considering the candidate’s experience and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees:
