The anticipated salary range is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 for a candidate who will work in New York City. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience to the job, education, and certifications.
A Manager of Special Projects at Nuasin Next Generation Charter School will:
- Support with K-8, 9-12, and full school-wide events.
- Support the operations team with all logistics and functions.
- Serve as the point person for communication between the Board of Trustees members, executive leaders, operations, and external partners.
- Write correspondence on behalf of Nuasin to parents, faculty, scholars, staff, and vendors.
- Support the Manager of Talent Acquisition and Marketing during peek recruiting and hiring times.
- Operates strategically across the organization to identify barriers that impede the attainment of goals and objectives.
- Performs highly responsible and confidential work as support to the Managing Director of Operations; supports the work of the Managing Director of Operations by responding to priority issues as they emerge, maintaining ongoing contact with the Managing Director of Operations to receive guidance on essential work, implementing the Managing Director’s directives and instructions, and feedback.
- Reporting compliance for to the DOE, City agencies, State Agencies, and the Federal government.
- Create, maintain and update school protocols and routines.
- Manage projects from inception to planning to communication, and through to the effective implementation of all projects.
- After all projects, an assessment of the project and follow-through are necessary.
- Serves as a liaison with senior leadership, the leadership team, and board members, to ensure that organizational goals are met.
- Drafts schedules for implementation of long-range plans and proposals.
- Monitors project progress, drafting and distributing periodic progress reports for leadership and stakeholders.
