About the Position

We are looking for a Transport Driver to be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fuel to a variety of locations to include Gas Stations, Airports, Construction sites, large freight and equipment companies, etc., while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image as part of the company team. We use Peterbilt’s and Kenworth’s, mainly Cummins 565HP with 18 speeds. This is a night shift position starting between 3:00pm to 5:00pm with two days off during the week - must be able to work weekends. This position will be slip-seating with a day driver.

You’ll report to the Transport Driver Manager working out of our Greenacres, WA location, focusing on these key responsibilities:

  • Deliver fuel to a variety of locations to include Gas Stations, Construction sites, large freight and equipment companies, etc.
  • Requires Current CDL Class A
    • Hazmat, Doubles Triples, Tankers preferred
    • We can aid in acquiring endorsements
  • 2 years driving experience in Class 8 vehicle
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Current Driver Certification Card (Physical)
  • Must be able to pass:
    • Drug Screen
    • Reference Check
    • Background Check
    • Motor vehicle records check
  • Must have basic knowledge of and comply with all D.O.T. industry and company safety regulations
  • Must be capable of analyzing and understanding general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government rules and regulations
  • Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and volume
  • Must be capable of problem solving in stressful situations and making decisions based on training provided
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Current CDL with hazardous material, tanker, and airbrake endorsements or the ability to obtain.
  • Must pass a drug test, reference check, background check and motor vehicle records check before hire when driving hazardous materials.
  • Must have basic knowledge of and comply with all DOT industry and company safety regulations.
  • Willing to work long hours to meet customer needs, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to read and analyze general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government rules and regulations.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume.
  • Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule once fully trained.
  • Experience operating a manual transmission helpful
  • Strong Communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and experience in the fuel and oil industry preferred
  • Customer service experience
  • Computer experience
    • Will be using a tablet for dispatches and Electric Logs daily
    • Will use digital displays at the racks and customer sites
