Position Core Profile:

The Regional Director of Business Development is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals, propelling growth, and standardizing best practices across the regional Operating Companies. This individual will cultivate relationships, establish robust team structures to support extensive growth, and implement go-to market strategies.

· Industry knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of the landscaping industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities, showing the ability to drive growth and expansion strategies in this specific sector.

· Strategic vision: Ability to develop and executive a strategic vision for business development, aligning the region’s growth objectives with that of the company.

· Relationship building: Strong network of industry contacts and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and partners.

· Acquisitions and integration: Proven track record in identifying acquisition targets, successfully integrating acquired businesses into the company portfolio, ensuring the company continues to meet targets and goals related to revenue mix, etc.


Accountabilities:

· Streamline processes and implement best practices across the regional Operating Companies.

· Architect team structure to bolster growth and operational efficiency.

· Foster and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Serve as a conduit between the Operating Companies and senior leadership, facilitating seamless communication.

· Continuously monitor the market and collaborate with peers and leaders within the organization to formulate effective sales strategies.

· Establish sales targets, pricing frameworks, estimating methodologies, and sales forecasts for the region.

· Engage in cross-functional partnerships to offer market planning expertise.

· Assimilate future acquisitions into the organization and regional framework.

· Utilize data analytics and reporting to steer decision-making and align the focus of regional teams and operating entities.

· Devise and communicate clear objectives and goals to the regional teams.

· Build and continuously develop a high-performing team of sales professionals.

Requirements:

Experience and Qualifications:

· 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role within a service-centric industry, preferably landscaping.

· Previous exposure to private equity environments and acquisition processes is advantageous.

· History of successfully driving business development initiatives.

· A passion for building and developing high performing teams.

· Demonstrated proficiency in collaborating and influencing others to achieve success.

· Understanding the service industry, including market trends and competitive landscape.

· Deep expertise and experience solving complex and difficult changes resulting from rapid growth and scaling.

· Strong business acumen, enabling effective budget management and forecasting.

· Ability to pivot between strategic and tactical responsibilities as needed.

· Experience with EOS preferred.
