HR/ Onboarding Clerk

Job Summary:
The HR/Onboarding Clerk at Patriot Auto Group, LLC will be responsible for assisting with the onboarding process for new employees and providing support to the HR department. This individual contributor role will play a vital part in ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new hires. This is a full-time hourly position located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Compensation & Benefits:
The starting compensation for this position is $16 to $18 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, employees will be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts and service repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including completing paperwork, conducting new hire orientation, and ensuring all necessary documents are properly completed and filed
- Setup and remove portal access in various software programs and websites for new hires and terminated employees
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding employment and new hire paperwork
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files
- Coordinate pre-employment screenings, such as background checks and drug tests
- Act as a liaison between new employees, HR department, and other departments within the company
- Process and maintain employee data in HRIS system
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating interviews for potential candidates
- Provide support to the HR department with various administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and answering phone calls
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR and onboarding processes
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar HR or onboarding role
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations, with a strong understanding of onboarding processes
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
