What We Are Looking For:
We are looking to hire an in-house, Product Marketing Specialist who will work directly with our Sales Manager and play key role in maintaining and developing our company’s marketing vision, strategy and goals. Some of your duties will be Developing collateral materials (print and digital) in conjunction with Marketing campaigns to grow sales. Managing and coordinating our Trade Show Staff. Constructing forecasts based on industry trends and market changes. Strategic planning based on knowledge of business operations and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
- Measure ROI and KPIs for all marketing activities, providing regular performance reports to senior management.
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive DTC sales.
- Create and manage annual marketing plans, including budget allocation and resource planning.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor strategies.
- Social Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and oversee social media to build brand awareness, engage customers, and drive traffic to DTC channels.
- Manage the social media calendar and ensure on-brand content across all platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest).
- Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to leverage new platforms and tools.
- Content Creation & Campaign Management
- Lead the creation of high-quality, compelling content tailored for different social media platforms.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, including promotions, product launches, and seasonal marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with creative teams, including graphic designers, videographers, and copywriters, to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and partners to enhance brand reach and engagement.
- Develop and manage affiliate marketing programs to boost DTC sales through partnerships.
- Advertising & Paid Media
- Plan and manage paid social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and creative development.
- Optimize ad performance through A/B testing and continuous monitoring.
- Collaborate with external agencies or internal teams for media buying and planning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product development, sales, and customer service teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Coordinate with e-commerce teams to optimize the online customer experience and conversion rates.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all marketing channels.
- Brand Management
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital and traditional marketing materials.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines and ensure all content adheres to brand standards.
- Innovation & Trends
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging platforms, and technological advancements in social media and digital marketing.
- Work with R&D team to review potential areas to explore/develop.
- Experiment with new marketing techniques and tools to stay ahead of the competition.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous feedback and development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum Bachelor Degree, with focus on Marketing.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior marketing role with a focus on DTC sales and social media.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, multitasking and project management skills.
- Knowledge of MSOffice Suite, Photoshop/Illustrator/Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and make informed decisions.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and CRM systems is a plus.
- A background in creative design is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (in person, on the phone, and in written communications) with high professionalism
- Self-motivated, high energy, and engaging level of enthusiasm and positive outlook
- Competitive starting salary of: $62K to $78k (depending upon experience)
