Schedule:

Monday-Friday; occassional weekends.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for coordinating the activities of the Mobile Wellness Team (MWT) in Kent County. The MWT will implement wellness programs that are easily accessible for all community members. In addition to physical health, the program will assess and address the social determinates of health with an emphases on the unique needs of rural communities. The coordinator will cultivate the team to ensure high quality activities and exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, required.
  • Bachelor degree in Health Education, Public Health, Nursing, Allied Health or related discipline; OR equivalent combination of academic training and work experience, required.
  • 3 years’ clinical nursing experience, required.
  • Experience cultivating community partnerships and community engagement through coalition, committee, and team-planning facilitation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Highly effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication; ability to modulate communication style (diplomatic/ assertive/ consultative etc.) to appropriately influence various types of individuals. The successful candidate will possess tact, diplomacy, and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of issues related to healthcare equity.
  • Ability to independently plan, organize and follow through on assignments and projects.
  • Ability to analyze and conceptualize data to ensure achievement of desired
