MUC is a software company seeking to fulfill a Full-Time AP Clerk in the Charleston, SC area.

100% Remote Work

Job Purpose: The AP Clerk will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of the accounts receivable processes, accounts payable processes, and perform quality control procedures. The AP Clerk will also provide coverage for the Director of Finance and Operations when applicable.

Finance and Operations Assistant to include, but not limited to:

  • Assisting the Director of Finance and Operations
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Collections Emails for Past Due Invoices
  • Daily Payment Generation and Processing
  • Maintaining and Updating Vendor Information
  • Monitor and Maintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Email Inboxes
  • Quality Control of Data Entry
  • Trial Balance Reporting
  • Weekly Aging Reports

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Accounting knowledge with at least two-years Accounting and/or Finance related experience
  • Capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks
  • Highly organized and efficient with excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
  • Skilled in all Microsoft Office Products with a concentration on Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and desire for accuracy

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2-Year Accounting or Finance Degree (preferred, but not required)
