How You Will Help Us Make a Difference – As a program specialist you have a key role to plan in the development of our club members
What are Essential Job Requirements:
- Candidates must pass a level 2 background check to be able to work for BGCMC,
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of work-related skills, knowledge, or experience are required.
- Certifications and credentials in respective skill-based activity highly preferred
- CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred.
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Experience in working with children and knowledge of youth development.
- Experience and ability in creating interactive e-sports activities.
- Strong organization, time management skills and ability to set priorities.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, positive attitude, high level of energy and flexibility.
- Proven strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to motivate youth and manage behavioral problems.
Position Qualifications:
- Required to stand, walk, run, and sit. Able to use hands and fingers on a (computer) keyboard and other office equipment. Able to reach and grasp instruments, technical objects.
- Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds during a standard 4- or 8-hour shift.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- The noise level in the work environment is high because work is conducted in a Club setting, indoor/outside.
- Subject to be in varying environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.
We Offer:
- Part-time role
- Salary Range $16.00-$17.00
- Holiday allowance for eleven paid holidays & 18 hours of vacation
- Free club membership for all your minor children in traditional clubs
- A great place to work at our DeSoto Traditional Club.
