Role Summary:
The Athletic Trainer (ATC) is accountable to the Staff Physical Therapist and/or the Physical Therapy Director. The ATC implements the treatment plan and advances the patient through rehabilitation as directed by the supervising physical therapist. Additionally, the ATC may oversee volunteers and students within the physical therapy department.
Requirements:
- Education: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline, accompanied by current NATA certification.
- Experience: Preferred experience of one to two years in an athletic training environment. Entry-level graduates holding NATA certification will also be considered.
