Job Summary

An an Infusion Data Coordinator at AmeriPharma, you will be responsible for handling prescription-based duties within the IV department, and communicates with patients, MD offices and Home Health nursing to collect information and exchange documents.


Schedule Details

  • In-Person (Laguna Hills, CA.)
  • Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm 


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processing prescriptions: Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy’s computer system, including patient details, medication dosage, and instructions
  • Collaborating with clinical staff to facilitate the collection of labs in a timely manner for review by the pharmacists
  • Updating formulation due to lab and RPH configuration in a timely accurate manner for better patient care
  • Managing all prescriptions via IV enterprise of either new prescription or refill prescriptions
  • Communication: Receive and manage any patient calls that require escalations to a pharmacist when a clinical intervention is required such as (adverse event, patient status change, medication counseling, or a drug interaction check)
  • Clerical duties as needed
  • Filler/Package duties as needed


Required Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software


Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Pharmacy Technician License 
  • 1+ years of Data Entry Experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Compounding Experience
  • Specialty Pharmacy Experience
  • Clean Room Knowledge
