Buxmont Academy has six campuses in southeastern PA and uses restorative practices to encourage students to grow academically and emotionally. Our teachers, counselors, and support staff work together to build a healthy community environment for our students. Join us in this rewarding role where excellence and relationships are at the core of everything we do.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 12pm. Additional hours may be available if desired. Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree or higher level of education, and either PA art or technology education certification, or the ability to obtain certification. We welcome qualified candidates who are interested in becoming teachers. We also welcome retired teachers who miss being in the classroom

Required Skills/Abilities for this role:

  • Desire to teach secondary school-aged students and ability to adapt to their developmental status.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high stress situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The capacity to work effectively both independently and with a team.
  • Proficient computer skills.
