Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSUMMARY OF POSITION:

In this position, you will be managing multiple Maintenance crew leaders. You will be reporting to the CEO and will work closely with the Account Managers responsible for your properties.  You will be the person responsible for the efficiency and safety of each maintenance crew you oversee. Your primary focus will be on the quality of all Crestview Landscape, Inc. properties assigned to you including reporting issues for each project with pictures and e-mails to the Account Manager.  Critical for this position will be managing and holding individuals accountable for following Company processes and procedures every day as well as meeting performance expectations.  This position will also need to embrace leading and inspiring the field staff in fostering a culture of passion, dedication, and loyalty.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Work with Management and Account Managers in driving performance associated with Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Operational Efficiency, and Labor Hours Controls.
  • Meet clients and work with Company staff to turn post-install Maintenance accounts into long- term Maintenance accounts.
  • Respond to new client requests for base maintenance, installations, etc.
  • Work with Account Managers in planning, scheduling, supervising and coordinating of the accounts, routes, projects, etc. as required.
  • Direct, manage, schedule, and coordinate sub-contractors, suppliers and other outside teams as well.
  • Reviewing account budgets, pricing models, margins, closure rates, etc. to ensure Company goals are achieved
  • Stay abreast to performance matrixes by running & analyzing reports / key indexes in order to ensure division operations are on track to meet expected goals, profit margins, return on investment, etc.
  • Complete daily/weekly/monthly site inspections of assigned properties.
  • Assist Foremen in highly technical tasks and support them on a day-to-day basis.
  • Carry out field training of Maintenance crew leaders and their teams.
  • Supervise field operations of up to 10 Maintenance Foremen and their crews.
  • Assist with personnel management and dispatching of crews.
  • Work with Account Managers to address customer issues and complaints immediately.
  • Identify extra work on Maintenance properties, prepare and submit such enhancement requests to Maintenance Account Managers for estimating and sales.
  • Assist with employee reviews related to direct team members.
  • Assist crews with time entry and issue management.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintained.
  • Promote and maintain a strong customer service focused environment and cooperative teamwork philosophy.
  • Provide operational support to other Departments, as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of professional Maintenance and Supervisory experience and work history.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of Property Management experience and work history.
  • Knowledge of acceptable safe work practices including wearing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Proactive self-starter, achieving high productivity with strong attention to detail; ability to work independently with little instruction; coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks, set deadlines, and complete projects in a timely manner is required.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of professional and ethical conduct.
  • Positive, tenacious attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment; works well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to consistently apply good judgment and make good decisions.
  • Ability to always maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Organized with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Experience managing complex project/event logistics.
  • Some local travel – up to 50%.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture or related field, required.
  • Landscaping, construction industry experience highly preferred.
