Key Qualifications

  • Managing the day-to-day workflow of clinical staff.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical assistant supervisor to manage the day-to-day workflow of clinical staff. As a medical assistant supervisor, your responsibilities include hiring, training, and reviewing employees. Depending on the size of the facility, you may oversee a single department or an entire operation. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, scheduling appointments, and performing basic medical procedures, vital checks, etc... In addition, carrying out a range of duties, which include administrative tasks and providing support to both clients and medical staff.


Pay & Benefits

At Janus, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $70,000 and $72,000 annually and your base pay will be considered on your job-related skills, training, qualifications, experience, and relevant education.

Requirements:


Education & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working as a medical assistant
  • Certified Medical Assistant or higher certification in the nursing field, or National Emergency Medical Technician certification (EMT), with at least one year of experience in a role conducting vitals and preliminary medical assessments preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the health or human services area is preferred, but not required.
  • Understanding the pharmacology and physiologic effects of alcohol and other commonly abused substances.
  • Demonstrated Leadership skills and experience in a leadership role.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn and implement Electronic Medical Software (AVATAR) to perform essential job functions which will include thoroughly documenting and entering program notes in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to communicate and interact with a broad range of individuals in a professional manner, good conflict resolution and communication skills, ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, and ability to work as part of a treatment team.
