We are seeking a Program Manager to provide support to a portfolio of BridgePhase contracts within the U.S. Air Force software factory ecosystem.  The ideal candidate will have a background with DoD modernization and digital transformation efforts, along with strong skills in program management and team leadership. Although this is primarily a remote position, we are seeking candidates who are either local to the San Antonio or surrounding area.

In this position, you can expect to:
  • Provide Program management support for our portfolio of projects supporting U.S. Air Force software factories located in San Antonio.
  • Work closely with project team employees and subcontractor personnel to ensure they are enabled for success as they support the mission of their clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners (i.e., Prime and Subcontractors)
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships within Government organizations falling within your portfolio 
  • Help our team demonstrate thought leadership and solution capability to current and prospective customers
  • Meet regularly with employees to stay aware of significant project related issues, risks, accomplishments, etc.  
  • Ensure coordination across all company support components (HR, Accounting, Security, etc.) to ensure employees needs are being met on project
  • Help forecast, manage, and support growth opportunities and support business development lifecycle for Air Force and broader DoD digital modernization initiatives.
  • Attend local industry events (AFCEA, etc.) to grow network and help market capabilities
As with any role, the exact role responsibilities will fluctuate and evolve. We are looking for versatile team members who thrive on new challenges and can readily adapt to additional responsibilities beyond those listed above.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting IT modernization and Digital Transformation programs, including exposure/experience in areas such as modern software engineering practices (Agile, DevSecOps) and IT modernization efforts.
  • Prior experience leading or managing technical teams, either in Government or Industry
  • Strong team leadership and personnel management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client and business partner relationships
  • Experience in stakeholder management within government organizations
  • Capability to demonstrate thought leadership and solution expertise
  • Proficiency in project risk management and issue resolution
  • Strong writing, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
