Job DescriptionJob Description

Oak + Elixir in Carlsbad, is looking for bartenders with craft cocktail/serving experience to join our team. Our ideal candidate MUST HAVE craft cocktail/mixologist experience. Must be attentive, punctual, personable, and reliable. Must be willing to be a server for some shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
  • Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Create cocktails using fresh ingredients
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Delivering a great customer experience
  • Present bar menu
  • Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Able to multitask efficiently
  • Proven working experience as a craft cocktail bartender (Minimum 3 years)
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
  • Relevant training certificates

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Mondays. Compensation is $16.00 - $30.00/hour.
