**Position Summary:**

Bartenders have excellent communication skills to serve cocktails and beverages to our guests. The Bartender will greet guests, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. Use the Company's Core Values to guide your day to day decisions with guest, team members, and your leadership team.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**, the essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

* Welcoming guests, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.

* You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.

* Inform guests about new beverages and specials.

* Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to guests.

* Checking identification to ensure guests are the legal age to purchase alcohol.

* Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.

* Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.

* Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate

* Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.

* Assisting General Manager with other assigned duties

* Performing other work-related duties as assigned

**Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):**

* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

* Additional education, training, certificates, or experience preferred

* Must be 21 years of age

* Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

* Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance

* Basic math and computer skills

* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

* Strong task and time management abilities

* Punctual

* Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques

* Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs

* He/She is "down to earth"...but can also "get down to business"
