Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The Construction Finance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations related to construction projects, ensuring fiscal health and compliance with financial regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of construction finance principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
    • Monitor project financial performance and provide analysis to support decision-making.
  • Cost Management:
    • Track project costs and expenditures against budgets.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project financial outcomes.
  • Cash Flow Management:
    • Manage cash flow projections and ensure availability of funds for project needs.
    • Implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for stakeholders and management.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Contract Management:
    • Review and negotiate financial terms in contracts and agreements.
    • Ensure adherence to financial clauses and terms during project execution.
  • Risk Assessment:
    • Conduct financial risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor financial trends and recommend proactive measures.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align financial goals with project objectives.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to project teams as needed.
  • Audit and Compliance:
    • Coordinate with auditors and ensure successful completion of financial audits.
    • Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard financial assets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager in the construction industry or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction finance, cost accounting principles, and financial regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
