About the Role: 
The Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQ SACT) is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Help Desk Support and System Administrator. This position will support the administration and operation of the Joint Advanced Distributed Learning (JADL), TRANSNET, and e-ITEP systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing system accounts, providing help desk support, and maintaining system security and functionality. 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Account Management: Review and approve new requests for accounts on JADL, TRANSNET, and e-ITEP systems, ensuring compliance with NATO requirements. 
  • Help Desk Support: Provide technical assistance via email and phone, addressing user issues related to account creation, course access, and system functionality. 
  • System Maintenance: Collaborate with the MS/LT Branch for uploading and testing courseware, maintaining content, and supporting customization for various NATO communities. 
  • Cybersecurity Awareness: Monitor and address potential cybersecurity issues to prevent unauthorized access and ensure system integrity. 
  • Reporting: Generate reports and metrics from Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other tools as required. 
Qualifications: 
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience (within the last 6 years) as a system administrator for online LMS and MS SharePoint. Experience in help desk support, user account management, and system troubleshooting is essential. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in help desk tracking software, trouble ticket systems, and data reporting from LMS or MS SharePoint. 
  • Cybersecurity: Knowledge of cyber issues and measures to protect system and network security. 
  • Education: Two years of vocational training in computer-related science or a related field. 
  • Language: Fluent in English (written and oral). 
  • Security Clearance: Must hold a NATO SECRET level security clearance or an equivalent active SECRET security clearance issued by a national authority.
