The manager will work closely with other departments to identify and implement solutions that improve network performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise a team of network administrators, engineers, and architects- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement solutions that improve network performance, security, and reliability- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the organization's network and data- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to network services and equipment- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of network and data communications
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field- Several years of experience in network administration, engineering, or architecture- Strong leadership and management skills- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills- Strong communication and collaboration skills- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and security best practices- Proficiency in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning tools- In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, and other network technologies.- Familiarity with Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, and F5.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure and tight deadlines- Experience with network design, implementation, and maintenance in a large, complex environment.
