As an Internal Control Senior Analyst, Projects, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to project execution.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

What Will You Be Doing? 

  • Participating as an internal controls subject matter expert within ICFR relevant company strategic initiatives
  • Collaboratively working with control owners / project resources to identify new or modify financial reporting risks generating from project activities
  • Designing and documenting business and ITGC internal controls to address project related financial reporting risks
  • Communicating control requirements to project teams and validating those requirements are appropriately met through the execution of user acceptance testing
  • Assisting in maintaining an effective internal control environment, assessing and implementing mitigating controls to address project impacts to existing business processes and IT controls
  • Assisting in maintaining effective segregation of duties within the company’s existing and new / modified financial systems
  • Coordinating with auditors to support implementation assessment activities

What Do You Need To Bring? 

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, or related experience; CPA or CIA certification a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal controls, compliance, or audit, preferable in public accounting or consulting experience of multi-national retail companies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional business partners in an advisory function
  • Strong planning, project management, communication, and analytical skills; experience with agile development a plus
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, embrace change, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with information technology general computer controls preferred
  • Enthusiasm for process documentation and a project management mindset
