Teton Volkswagen is looking to hire a Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician Apprentice. We pride ourselves on promoting from within and would entertain any and all serious candidates. Job Summary: Works with PDR Technician, Sales Management, and Used Car Manager to provide a variety of services including: Paintless Dent Repair, Windshield, Chip Repair, Paint Touch up and Minor Paint Repair Cut & Polish, Scratch Removal, Head Light restoration.

Pay: $15-$18/hr. during training with potential incentives

Responsibilities: Each Job Responsibility is listed below in no order of importance, notice some tasks are ongoing throughout.

  • Meet or exceed turnaround times on all authorized work
  • Interact and work cohesively with all departments support Teton Toyota, Teton Volkswagen, Teton Honda, and Teton Auto Credit in their goals to have the nicest used cars in the market.
  • Work with management teams to develop and implement processes to offer window chip repair and P.D.R.
  • Perform PDR on vehicles at dealership lots.
  • Perform PDR repairs for retail service customers.
  • Inspect vehicles on dealership lots for PDR repairs
  • Set realistic goals for sales numbers of these products based on volume of each store.
  • Hang Banners on main drive in doors rotate between window chip and PDR.
  • Set up process for insurance company billing. Learn and understand the insurance programs to maximize reimbursement.

Training:

  • Internal
    • 2 to 3 weeks on service drive at Teton VW, Toyota, Honda
    • 2 weeks in detail/accessory department at Teton Toyota
    • 1 week with Used Car Manager and Lot Manager
  • Outside
    • 2 week offsite training

Skills or Items Required:

  • To perform this job successfully, this individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
    • Detail Oriented
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Clean Driving Record / Driver’s License  
    • Mechanical aptitude
    • Prior mechanical and/or body experience is a plus
