Accounting Specialist/Manager Hiring Now

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Compensation:$25 - $35 hourly
Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily accounting operations by developing monthly projections and yearly budgets
- Recommend changes that will enhance profitability by reviewing balance sheets, income statements, and expense accounts and ensuring their accuracy
- Effectively monitor and track all accounts receivable, while also creating and controlling accounts payable invoicing
- Verify general ledger accounts, investigate and correct account discrepancies, and review daily revenue activity list to ensure accountability
- QuickBooks Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in QuickBooks Online to handle all aspects of financial transactions, reconciliation, and reporting
- Month-end Closing: Assist in executing month-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements
- Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Superior customer service skills, math skills, relationship skills, and communication skills are preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required; degree in finance or related field preferred
- QuickBooks Online Expertise: Proven experience and proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must
- Accounting Experience: Previous experience in accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a dynamic work environment
- Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
