Job DescriptionJob Description

· Conducting on-site inspections during construction projects to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project specifications

· Evaluating the quality of workmanship and materials used on construction sites

· Identifying any deviations from approved plans, specifications, or codes, and documenting them for corrective action

· Preparing detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and required corrections

· Providing technical guidance and support to construction contractors and project teams to ensure compliance with standards and regulations

· Collaborating with project managers and engineers to resolve construction-related issues and ensure project success

· Keeping up to date with current building codes, regulations, and industry best practices

Requirements

· Proven experience as a Construction Inspector or similar role

· Thorough knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and construction methods

· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and deviations from plans or specifications

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction documents

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

· Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and equipment

· Good physical condition and ability to work in various weather conditions

· Certification as a Construction Inspector is a plus
