Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Manage all position postings and initial resume screenings
  • Book interviews and manage candidate communications
  • Discern relevant technical skills
  • Discern culture fit and communication skills
  • Passionately convey the mission and opportunity of Effortless
  • Innovate on how we make the recruitment process more effective and efficient

Onboarding

  • Process new hire paperwork (background checks & HR system new-hire setup)
  • Facilitate Day 1 orientation
  • Oversee initial training schedule – acting as an early ambassador to Effortless to ensure new employees get the resources they need to be successful
  • Ensure 90-day milestone meetings are scheduled; ensure milestone reviews occur

Employee engagement

  • Communicate employee announcements: birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, etc.
  • Conduct our bi-annual employee engagement survey
  • Be an empathetic listener and employee advocate
  • Help facilitate crucial conversations between employees, managers, and leadership
  • Create, oversee, and revise employee policies and procedures
  • Maintain our employee handbook
  • Ensure proper HR practices & retention of required HR documents
  • Develops and tracks metrics that actively monitors and ensures organizational programs and initiatives are having the desired impact on the workforce

Talent Development

  • Ensure that quarterly conversations & relevant deliverables are being completed by managers
  • Assist with crafting a clear growth path for all employees including identifying training opportunities for advancement
  • Maintain organizational resources such as job descriptions, org charts and payroll changes
  • Contribute to creating employee training programs
  • Oversee the successful completion of required annual training programs
  • Assist with our quality program and the collection of metrics to track employee success and opportunities for growth.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities based on where quality is routinely missed
  • Form strong relationships with team managers to identify training needs and opportunities to enhance the employee experience from a training and development perspective
  • Research and advise on compensation structures to ensure we retain top talent
  • Oversee reward and recognition programs; ensuring they delivery continuous value

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a relevant discipline like HR, organizational development, talent development/training, business administration
  • 2+ years of experience managing an aspect of the employee experience
  • Strong generalist experience required with knowledge of core HR functions
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and or leading others
  • Experience with employer branding and employee communications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; especially adept at listening and displaying empathy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Sr. Leadership
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

  • Skills in producing process documentation
  • Experience building and overseeing training programs
  • Technical training experience
  • A SHRM certification
  • A Master’s degree in a related field
