Job DescriptionNorthwestern Medicine is seeking an ACGME-approved fellowship trained, BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist to join the growing Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute (BCVI) South Region team at Palos Hospital, located in Chicago’s southwestern suburbs. Cardiovascular services in the south region provide a comprehensive range of cardiovascular services, including cardiac MRI, coronary CT, interventional imaging, coronary/peripheral/structural heart interventions, advanced heart failure, cardiothoracic surgery, and electrophysiology. Experience with complex coronary interventions preferred.

- Responsibilities of this position include diagnostic coronary angiography and complex coronary interventions. Performing peripheral angiography/interventions is optional and not required.

Palos Hospital has a state-of-art cardiac catheterization suite and CT surgery backup coverage. The laboratory is equipped with LV support such as Impella, IABP, atherectomy (rotational, orbital, and laser) lithotripsy, intravascular coronary imaging (IVUS and OCT), and peripheral interventions.
BCVI is a full service, fully integrated institute across the system. The six clinical centers comprising BCVI are the Center for Heart Rhythm Disorders, Center for Coronary Disease, Center for Vascular Disease, Center for Valve Disease, Center for Heart Failure and the Center for Preventive Cardiology.
