Job Title: Physician Assistant – Primary Care

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary: As a Physician Assistant, you will be an integral part of our primary care team, providing comprehensive medical care to patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered consistently. This role is ideal for individuals who are kind, caring, and dedicated to building long-term relationships with their patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Provide high-quality medical care, including conducting physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, developing and implementing treatment plans, and prescribing medications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes, in accordance with healthcare regulations.
  • Follow-Up Care: Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support to ensure positive health outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Board Certification: Board Certification as a Physician Assistant is required.
  • NYS License: New York State (NYS) License to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Physician Assistant in a primary care or similar setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
