Position Overview:
A client based in Klamath Falls is in search of a dedicated and empathetic primary care physician to become part of a dynamic, outpatient interdisciplinary team. We welcome applicants of all experience levels. Ideal candidates should prioritize evidence-based medical practices and be adept at treating patients of all ages. This position requires collaboration with various staff members and oversight of mid-level providers and nursing personnel.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon medical license as an MD or DO
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Board certification in primary care
- Possession of a DEA certificate prior to commencement
- Current CPR certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct primary and outpatient care to clinic patients
- Conduct in-service training for clinic staff to enhance awareness and improve patient care
- Engage in the formulation of clinic protocols and procedures to guarantee high-quality medical services
- Participate in utilization and peer review initiatives to assess the quality of medical staff and services provided
- Supervise and consult with physician assistants and nurse practitioners
- Offer consultation services to practitioners via telephone as needed
