Job Purpose:

A Northern California Project Manager would be responsible for managing projects in the Northern California area to include the Bay Area, Sacramento, Fresno and South Lake Tahoe. This is a remote position that requires a home office. Occasional travel to headquarters in Corona CA will be necessary. A successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of construction and/or signage project management experience with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget. You create and monitor milestone tasks, organize and prioritize tasks, coordinate with internal departments and the customer to ensure complete customer satisfaction. This position is the liaison between sales, design, quality and manufacturing management, and installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost control, quality and on-time performance
  • Critical thinking and high-level problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and project tasks simultaneously.
  • General construction knowledge
  • Work with installation subcontractors to facilitate all field related work
  • Manage projects & project budget from design phase, through permits, production, and installation
  • Qualify and negotiate with subcontractors for obtaining permits, performing installation & estimates
  • Ability to resolve contractual disputes and change orders
  • Lead and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines as required for each project and project phase to ensure overall project objectives and client needs are met
  • Handle communications with external partners and manage expectations
  • Assist local sales executive with building/maintaining client relationships
  • Manage day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects

Education/Training/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Three years of relevant professional work experience. Sign experience or construction NECESSARY
  • Most possess a valid Real ID driver's license (minimum Class C), have and maintain a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to maintain auto insurance coverage.
