Global Sourcing Manager

Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, aligned relationships with both new and existing long term supplier partners in collaboration with Tronex Executive Leadership to align with business objectives.
- Lead or support the implementation of various key projects within Tronex Global Sourcing Department as assigned. Including but not limited to: Ongoing manufacturing base growth and global diversification, critical supplier manufacturing assessments, and industry market research to support corporate strategies.
- Coordinate with Executive Leadership to foster continuous excellence in overall Supplier Relations, including existing supplier performance metrics and new supplier development, focusing on manufacturing and service excellence.
- Available for periodic overseas travel, including but not limited to: Manufacturing sites across the world and related industry global business conferences.
- Maintain a full registry of manufacturing base contacts and performance acumen, including primary, secondary, and tertiary hierarchy in alignment to corporate strategy.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail to drive timely execution in meeting and exceeding project timelines for successful outcome.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with focus in global supply chain, product development a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in product development, global manufacturing, supply chain and/or sourcing operations.
- Willingness to travel overseas, up to 25%.
- Agility and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment, with high self-initiative, managing multiple projects and short deadlines with flexibility to changing direction.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, notably Excel and Power Point.
- Fluency in speaking and writing in Mandarin or Cantonese.
The position is located full time on site in our Mount Olive, NJ Headquarters.
