Job Summary:

To enhance the effectiveness of the Location Pastor by providing professional administrative support while continuously developing a hospitable and highly efficient office and campus environment. Responsible for overseeing and delegating daily and weekend service operations of the Location and fulfilling projects and assignments delegated from Location Pastor and/or Cabinet Team. Collaboratively participate on the Radiant Administrative Team and with the complimentary Location Coordinators.

  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ that results in a life lived in obedience to the will of God as described in the Word of God, evident by spiritual fruit and the desire to grow in the Lord
  • Support the works of the ministry of Radiant Church
  • Beliefs consistent with Radiant Church’s Statement of Faith
  • Willing to become, if not already, a member of Radiant Church within 6 months of employment
  • Demonstrate a commitment to handling conflict Biblically, following principles in Matthew 18


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support the Location Pastor through but not limited to: Calendar Management, Staff, Executive and Team Radiant Communication, reminders of tasks, projects, assignments, etc.
  • Oversight of Be Radiant Class and Team Radiant Application Process
  • Assist HR at campus level in but not limited to, quarterly Location Team Radiant audits
  • Support Team Radiant functionally and operationally through administrative and leadership support to ultimately serve our volunteer oversight leaders
  • Overseeing all attendance data and see that it is done for the location by weekly due date (Sunday at 2pm)
  • Professionally communicate with congregants, suppliers, visitors, general public, and staff
  • Understand and follow Central guidelines and requests protocols related to Central Departments (Facilities, Creative, Finance, IT, Events, Executive, etc)
  • Budget Planning, Management, and monthly inspection of Location budgets as well as monthly expense process
  • Appointment scheduling, calendar management including but not limited to location building requests and event requests 
  • Arranges corporate travel and meetings by developing itineraries and agendas; booking other transportation; arranging lodging and meeting accommodations
  • Attend meetings to record minutes and notes
  • Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, monitoring progress and problem-solving
  • Interact, coordinate, plan and problem solve with every department and/or pastoral oversight
  • Operates as liaison to all departments through effective communication on behalf of the Location Pastor.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Prepare reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software
  • Support Location Pastor in administration and leadership of discipleship process regards to events and groups. This includes but is not limited to Communion, Baptisms, Classes, Training and other events.
  • Executes and oversees central events and projects at the Location
  • Oversees Location Coordinator through task assignment, delegation, biweekly direct report meetings, development, and discipleship
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Able to adapt under pressure and to quickly and creatively handle problems as they arise with a positive attitude
  • Self starter who takes initiative
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficient in meeting task deadlines and project timeline requirements
  • Attention to detail with an eye for excellence
  • Respond in a timely manner (within 24 hours) to all ministry related inquiries
  • Able to delegate tasks
  • Mac OS experience preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license required


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of related work experience
  • Associates degree preferred


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to remain standing/sitting for long periods of time
  • Must be able to bend and twist at the waist
