POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Business Partner plays a critical role in aligning People strategies and initiatives with the organization's overall business objectives. This role is responsible for providing strategic HR support, collaborating with business leaders, and driving people/talent initiatives that enhance organizational performance and employee engagement. The incumbent will act as a trusted advisor, offering expertise in areas such as talent management, employee relations, and workforce planning. In addition, the successful candidate will need to be a hands-on executor and creative problem solver. Experience with manufacturing operations is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Serve as a business partner to multiple functions across the company, acting as a trusted coach and advisor for both employees and executive leaders
  • Providing a strategic as well as a tactical lens to make and execute people decisions that support sustainable organization success
  • Oversee employee relations, handling issues, conflicts, and grievances while promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Support organization structure, providing guidance to enhance career development, and enable scalability and alignment with key business goals
  • Provide support for talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development to improve overall business performance
  • Collect and analyze people data to identify trends and provide insights to inform decision-making
  • Support organizational change initiatives by providing expertise in change management strategies and communication plans
  • Create learning and development content, and facilitate training across the organization
  • Lead and facilitate development initiatives, including group sessions or workshops on tools like behavioral assessments, collaboration, conflict resolution, team dynamics, and other key areas
  • Serve as a People Leader for Talent Acquisition specialist
  • Help leaders navigate change and foster a culture of adaptability
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that values diversity, inclusion, and belonging

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources roles of progressive responsibility, ideally with manufacturing operations experience as well as salaried/corporate experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Leadership & Org Development, or related preferred
  • Inclusive and creative problem-solver with a passion for continuous learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, at all levels of an organization
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • 10-20% travel may be required
